I do plan to leave here at one point. However it’s rather nice just sitting around with not much to do but eat clementines, visit recommended pastry shops and sample the house salads.
I do walk around the town a bit, generally get lost and have to sort things out. The cough persists but it might be getting better. I won’t say too much lest I jinx it.
The swelling from the fall is easing. It’s doing a lot better than the cold. I guess if you have to be laid up, it might as well be for several reasons rather than just one.
I’m here for three more days and then I will meet my friend Cynthia very near Santiago and then regroup. The weather here has been amazing. Still no rain. I did catch the Toronto weather report. WOW those are pretty high temperatures for October. Stay cool.
