Yesterday Cynthia and I took the bus from Muxia to Santiago. Tracey gave us a lift into town and showed us the church on the rocks, which is very beautiful. We had a seafood lunch. I had clams in a Marinara sauce and Cynthia had giant shrimps.
When we got to Santiago, we had a coffee together and said goodbye. I was sad to lose my travelling companion. We hailed a cab for Cynthia and I walked a few blocks to my hostel. It was OK for the night. But I decided to try another one even though it’s further away
I’ll take a cab there as this is the first day of rain in almost 7 weeks. I’m hoping there’s a bus into the old town from this Albergue. If not I will try to stay at the hotel I stayed at the last time I was here. I leave on Thursday for Porto. I’ll keep you posted.
