I made it to La Ventosa today. Camino Ninja said it would be 19kms. My phone said it was 16kms, my phone has lied before, and my body said that you could maybe have done another 5kms. The path was flat. It was an easy slog. (I mastered in oxymorons, with minor in morons). All puns intended.
I had a lovely Paella for lunch even though this is really not Paella country. (Valencia in Catalonia is the Paella capital of the world.) Still my mixed seafood and meat in a risotto style rice with 2 glasses of wine was excellent.
I walked mainly on my own today. I didn’t want to fall so I concentrated on walking and not talking and falling. I met many of the people I started out with and got caught up with them at a lunch spot. It’s been an amazing day so far. Things I have missed in my next post.
