We took a bus for 2.5 euros from Arzua to O Pedrouzo. We now are 19.3kms to Santiago.
Booking a place to stay in Santiago was a challenge. Ideally Nick wanted a room of his own. I had suggested this as a perk for looking after me so well this entire trip.
There were lots of double rooms but few singles and few rooms for multiple days because we’re here until Monday when we take the train back to Madrid.
I booked a double room for Friday and another for Saturday. Sunday is still open. Shared double rooms are just a little more expensive than bunks in dorms. I’m being spoiled.
Today the weather is forecast to be sunny and a little warmer with a wind 19C. We didn’t travel far for dinner. There is a fairly good restaurant right beside our Albergue. I had a salad and Nick had a sandwich. We will splurge in Santiago 😊.
