Last night in Portomarin, Nick had identified a very upscale restaurant- La Mirador. He insisted we go there and it was special. We started with lightly sauted octopus to which we added a platter of grilled vegetables. We then had a main course of salmon which again was quite light. The house wine was a tad expensive at 20euros but it was good. Nick paid so I have no idea what it all cost.
Today was a 13kms walk in brilliant sunshine. There was some climbing but not too steep. The path was mainly through rolling countryside. Our Albergue is a restored stone farmhouse in a small grouping of restored buildings which are mainly Camino accommodations. We will have dinner here tonight and walk to Palas de Rei tomorrow. I’ll keep you posted.
