My Camino actually started at Pearson airport. I met 5 other Canadians – all retired women – who were walking the Camino too. We hung out and chatted before the flight, met after the flight and helped each other buy the train tickets into Porto.
Everyone was staying in Porto today, so after getting my stamp at the cathedral, I walked down to the river and then onto Matosinhos on my own. It was a very long 13kms. However the weather was great, the scenery was lovely and the hostel here is quite nice. I’ll post later with an update.
Bom caminho
